Hello all! My name is Alexus.

Been lurking for a while now. Had to make an account I’m excited to finally join the forum! Recently pulled the trigger and upgraded from a '16 Honda HRV to a ‘20 4R. Has definitely been way better for adventures with friends and my new Doberman puppy.

I’m looking for some quick and easy mods to get started with. So far, I’ve only done emblem blackouts and slapped those flags on. Also, any recommendations for steps would be super helpful since I'm standing tall at 4’11. Thanks in advance!

Welcome. Excellent color choice . So many things you can do to make your ride your own. Blackout Toyota emblem for the steering wheel. Led lights for interior and exterior.

Everyone’s gotta appreciate the humility when one admits to lurking in the shadows.

I think you may already be interesting in Predator Steps. I would recommend other types of nerf step running boards to make your runner your own. I think some come with factory “Predator Steps”, that in my opinion sit way too low for clearance.
I went from factory steps, to Smittybilt brand, to 10° rock sliders.

*edit: even at 4’11, nerf steps or modest 10° sliders will suffice

Welcome to the forum from San Diego! Well, I have the Predator steps that came with it and they hang down pretty far which would drag on stuff when off-roading. I’ve been looking at flat rock sliders with kick-outs and top plates as a replacement. I see used Predator steps on Craigslist and the buy/sell/trade part of this forum for 1/2 of new, some only have 20 miles on them.

 

I'm prepping mine to sell as we speak. Sand and paint.
