I have to move my models. On my 4runner where should I put hooks on my tow straps? I have a tow hitch. Also there is a small hole on the frame driver side?
    thanks

Sorry I wrote that late last night. I am trying to get information on where to place my tow straps on my 1996 4 runner. I have to pull a model t . I am thinking of placing one strap around the rear tow hitch of the 4?runner. And the other end of the strap around the rear end of the modelt. I’m only pulling the model t about 10 yards. thanks

Get a tow ring that plugs into your hitch. Many models to chose from here is one.

This. You want a shackle like Jeepster posted. Home Depot, Northern Tool and Harbor Freight sell them too. Do NOT just hook the loop of a tow strap over the ball of your trailer hitch. Those loops can and do slip off causing serious damage to people and property.

You are just tugging the Model T across the yard?

I would just use the hitch pin - place the tow strap into the receiver and then insert the pin through the receiver holes and through the loop in the strap. That's generally what I do for recovery. No need to buy special shackles.

I have no idea where you would attach it to the T.

Hi thanks for all the responses. Yes I’m just dragging my model t around my yard. But trying to get my kids to help is just a lot of coordination. So the easiest and fastest is just changing the head gasket where the model t sits. Thanks to everyone.
    Thanks
    Jerryt
