Wireless android auto

Anyone with a 24 know if the android auto supports wireless? On my 21 it requires plugging in with USB. I tried an adapter and was not happy with it.

I had a rental Audi a4 last weekend and was surprised the wireless worked no need for plug in.

 

Runners do not support wireless carplay or wireless android auto.

 

24 still requires a cable

but you can buy my dongle (heh!) unless the Motorola one is the one you disliked. I thought it worked brilliantly...

all 5th gen that support carplay/aa are wired.

i think the 6th gen will be wireless

 

I have wireless Android Auto on my '23 Prius Prime. 80% of the time it works 100% of the time so I end up plugging it in anyways. Plus wireless is a battery suck

I have noticed that audio quality is not as good and like you said, you have to plug it in anyway to charge.
