I have been having a ton of electrical issues the last few weeks.

The most prominent problem is intermittently my push to start will not turn green and the car will not start. All lights works, key fob unlocks doors, car will go into acc, just won’t start. If I disconnect the battery for awhile it will start just fine. Scanned for codes and got P0504 which is brake switch A/B, P1603 which says engine stall history, and C1422 which says VSC interruption for engine convenience.

Today I was driving and the AC light started flashing and the AC started blowing warm air, then shortly after the traction control and ABS lights came on, scanned for codes again and got B1422 which is the AC compressor, along with P0504 again.

All of these issues are intermittent, car will be fine for a couple days, then all of a sudden these issues will occur. Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure it's insured well and make it look like an electrical fire.

First step is to have the battery checked. Lots of strange problems can occur in modern vehicles if the battery voltage is low. If it is over 3 years old just replace it.

Got any good auto repair shops nearby? I get the feeling this will be more than can be diagnosed on a forum on a 14-year old vehicle. If you're in the Chicago area you could hit up the Car Care Nut.

Could be a bad brake pedal switch or flaky brake light bulb.

Visually inspect the brake pedal switch for corrosion or stickiness. Replace the switch if necessary. Judging by your username, make sure you don't get pegged while checking the switch!

Open the brake pedal switch connector and check for corrosion.

Check the brake light bulbs and sockets for corrosion. Clean up the sockets and replace the bulbs if you see any. Make sure the sockets have good grip on the bulbs (can pry the copper fingers with a pocket screwdriver to tighten the grip).

Would also do a quick check under the hood to make sure some rodents haven't started gnawing on the harness.
