Fine, I too joined the cult. Off-road the first week, at least enough to know I'm not sad about my decision. This is the top of Bald Mountain just south of Hood River Oregon.

I have a 13 Limited and I was going to change to Trail so I can mount a snuggle bumper. I need something to kill deer with on the fly and push bird flipping Jeep's out into the intersection whether they want to go or not. I thought with their spare and me locking diffs I should be able to show them the difference between having ass and having none. Am I a bad man thinking like that?

 

yup.. next to it with the small lot with the surf shop and a couple cafe's.. they say that is the best taco bell in the world with the views haha..

Shhh! If you know, don't tell! Getting harder to have this place to myself. Buckeye Hot Spring was infested with chads and Travelers.

395 is great. Yeah, Buckeye used to be somewhat unknown. Mostly used by a few nude bathers.

 

Was this off the road to Virginia Lakes? I was at Virginia Lakes a week or so ago. Ember is doing her equivalent of the "bro pose" where she finds the only rock around to demonstrate the suspension travel.

 

Good eye (and dog!). There's hella trails in that area, both south, and north towards Dunderberg Peak. Watch for pornography carved into the trees, lol.

 

I saw a lot of roads and trails that looked fun to explore in the area, but unfortunately that hike to the lakes was just a quick lunch break during a long driving day. I had 500 miles of driving that day on my way to SoCal, and two very large detours since 395 was closed in two places. But I still managed to do the quick hike to stretch our legs and stop for chili and a shake at Mono Cone.
