    Am i screwed? lol

I was replacing the radio in my 2022 4runner limited and I dropped not one but two screws into the abyss behind where the radio sits. I have a boroscope and I couldn't find either. My question is how much area is below there? Does it run under the gearshifter or does it stop at a certain point. I can hear them moving sometimes while driving.

Removing the center shift console cover is pretty simple if you want to look there.

Too poor to buy anything now
If you know the screw size, it sounds like a trip to the hardware store would be easier.

Center console cover comes off fairly easily. You don't even have to deal with the 4WD lever lever boot in your Limited. It's often removed for wiring in an amp, subwoofer, etc.

Agree with everyone, I had to remove all that to place the amp I have under the passenger seat. Simple to remove and reinstall. You can find a video on the YouTube.

It’s possible that if you don’t find them under the shifter console, they may have fallen under the carpet directly beneath the center stack. Aside from the noise, I agree with Grandpawmoses.

    Happy searching.
