Does anyone know when the last of the 5th gens will be built? Given everything is changing for 25 I didn't know if it would be shorter or longer than a normal year.

Yup all done, the last of the allocations are on the way, longo Toyota in SoCal (largest volume Toyota stealership in America) has hundreds of Tacomas but only one overpriced 4Runner left

In at the dealer I bought my 23 from for an annual inspection and walked the lot and surprised to see they had 4 5th gens, one Pro even (no markup). Sales weasel approached me and I said not looking, my 23 is in for an inspection. "You didn't want the new 6th gen? I pre-ordered one." I was like no thanks, I don't want a turbo 4 and 7 speed transmission and this poor clueless sales dude had no idea that's what they were coming with. Another reason not to trust the sales guys.

My dealership in Spring, Texas, Fred Haas Toyota World has 15 of the 2024's left. I was there this week for an alignment.

    Cheers,

I got $3k off our 2024 ORP mid-April (1st weekend after announcing the 6th gen) in Colorado... I suspected I could have pushed for 3.5-4k, but I'm happy I cashed out when I did.

Yup! I went to check out the lc250 a couple months ago, and the salesman I talked to did not even know it required premium.o_O

CO still got plenty in stock and more in build phase and in transit. Here's an example just TRD PRO itself. 3 in stock, 7 in transit, 3 in building phase.

There's still a lot that are marked "in production" that's why I asked. I still have my eye out for a TRD Pro, but it seems the only options are white or black. Dealers around here started charging list prices for all of them about two months ago. Before that you could get $3500 off on any non Pro trim.

Yep, you have way more options out there. No one even has any in stock around here.

The Pro at Stevenson has been there for a few weeks. Saw it back in mid August.

Nothing lasts more than a week around here. I thought maybe we would see some deals at the end of the year, but I was way wrong there. I under estimated how bad all the new Toyota stuff was going to be.
