Still the best one for the 4runner. All black with white stitching.
The old one though slightly worn from the top after 14 years was still perfectly fine otherwise. That is phenomenal quality for such a contact part.

Added a few things this weekend. Installed a Start-X remote starter with the Voxx Car Link cellular upgrade(?), Emerald Integrations Apple Carplay box that adds Carplay to the older 4Runners, new Infinity Reference speakers all around, and an attempt at vinyl wrapping the dash trim above the glove box. I found an MGM wrap on Amazon, and it matches the truck, but I'm not proficient with wrapping yet, it would seem. It looks ok, if you don't get too close...Interior.jpg

Finally got my Maxtrax boards mounted on new roof rack this past Saturday. And I didn't realize it while taking the second pic, their coloring matches the colors of the gas station across the street. And I had to zoom in on it to make sure I wasn't missing them.

I went in the desert to do the monthly 10 miles in 4WD.
Aired down to 20 psi and practiced 4H, 4L, ATRAC, and the rear locker

Nothing to the 4Runner. Just new plug & pig to for trailer to replace the one that went missing yesterday. The more I think about it I even hade the harness on top of X safety chains to prevent any dragging. The round plug does have "lip" on lower portion & I always make sure it gets "locked in" & the 4 flat pin does unplug that easy. What sucks is the 1 pin on trailer got ground down & deformed some. took a scribe to reshape it & had a5 flat pig tail to make it fit. The round connector seems to be quality. Definitely put that & tie downs in back when I off load

It’s the city, Nice, where I grew up in France. Nice is the name in French, and Nissa the name in Nissart (the dialect of Nice). Hence, my profile name.
A lot of people think I meant to write Nissan, then realize I drive a Toyota, then get confused and think I’m trolling lol

I’ve thought about looking for another name or just going back to a random AZ plate.
My bike read “Mèfi” which means watch out (as in, watch out for the monster)
Maybe I should find something more fitting for the 4R?

New printed dish mount with cover, ran permanent DC power too. It doesn't really need the protection but I like how hidden it is.

RCI must be reading my post. The sliders were ready for pickup today, (very next day after posting this :boink:)

So naturally I went and picked them up. Here are some before and after pics for your enjoyment. I love the new look and the kids/wife like the aid with entry. Can’t beat that!

These things were packed well and boy are they beefy.

    Hit 2K on T4R.
While checking things out on the underneath of the 4Runner I noticed that the factory Blue index marks on the Transfer case fill bolt doesn’t line up. Not sure if the fluid level is rechecked at some point before hitting the dealership.
Need to get some crush washers and check the fluid.
Not sure if anyone else has noticed this on their rig.

It's funny reading all that. My high school French teacher and her family were Baptist (Southern Baptist) missionaries in France. And while France its predominately Roman Catholic, she got into the history of the French Huguenots. Huguenots, if I remember correctly, was kinda of a "catch all" for Christian believers outside of the Catholic church. But I do remember her talking about some of the different dialects within France. But never heard of the one for Nice in particular. And even funnier was the fact she talked about there was a "language police" in France. It has tried to keep French language pure (for whatever that is worth).

Someone was in there. Probably the dealer topping or checking but that is interesting. They should have cleaned and remarked
