After reading this story about the Cowboys/Jerry Jones, I have to whole heartedly agree:

Some of the best games I've watched ended in a nil nil draw.

Never could get into soccer. I've tried, though.

 

I can totally get that. I played for a very long time and have a love and appreciation for the game that most people have no passion for. It's the only sport I played growing up (other than a few years in little league) which is why I don't watch any other professional sport. Although I am in two fantasy football league this year for some reason

 

I "got in to a girl" who played soccer once. That counts, right? I actually got into her a lot. A lot, A lot.

 

Never could get into soccer... I have not, and WILL NOT try.

 

I tried at the urging of some friends at work a few years ago. Just couldn’t get into it.

 

One of the things about soccer that I find extremely annoying is those freaking horns or whatever they are in the crowd. The sound of those makes me want to "do things" .

 

Meh. I used to care when Eli Manning was still in the league. Go Giants!

 

Ahhh, FINALLY. A full day of NFL football. Hopefully my Cowboy's do me proud today.

The NFL has taken the same road as Nascar. Over the last I don't know how many years, both have become lame. I'm not letting NHRA too far behind the same road traveled. I was a fan back in the day when the players loved the game. I guess I'll stick to hockey and baseball! BTW, why doesn't Wis. have a pro hockey team? Lots of the players from UW are highly sought after!

Lucky guys. ESPN (& all Disney) are in contract negotiations with AT&T. No sports until they settle.

 

I have AT&T UVerse and I can watch all the football games. Well, maybe not all. But the ones on Fox/CBS/NBC. Maybe it's a regional thing?
