Well its been a sad day, My current suspension ( Old man Emu- Nitro Charger Sport) is having some problems. My upper strut mounts have been beaten to a point of no return, and that has caused the strut housing to be thrown off balance. I am looking for parts to repair as of now but emu decided to discontinue this suspension a few years ago, if anyone has an idea as to where I could find new upper strut mounts please let me know, as for now I am out of commission. Apart from the obvious damage, what's with the two different kinds of nuts and why doesn't the nut at the top have any thread engagement?

As far as I know, whoever installed the suspension was a meatball with no idea of what he was doing.

The OME Nitrochargers re-use stock mounts, so any aftermarket stock replacement mount will do e.g. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8708612&cc=1432828&pt=7600

Probably. Get the washer stack on the shock shaft wrong, and it'll punch through the upper mount fairly quickly.
