Not stock height, but I did measure the 21'-22' Eibach front spring height after settling with the Apex recovery points and it was 21 7/8". Down an inch+ from the settled 23'-24' springs. This makes sense as the 21-22 springs are advertised at 1.4" and the 23-24 are 2.5"

Steve what were your caster specs on the 23-24 springs?

Don - I forgot to grab a print out on the last alignment check. They notified me that the alignment hadn't changed from when I had the 21'-22' 1.4" springs on which I still have. It would have been a paid alignment this time so I'm sure they would have indicated if there were any problems that could bring money into the store.

I can tell you the camber setting is pretty flat. Does track nicely on the freeway at 75-80 similarly to my 2018 TRD Offroad with Bilstein 5100s front (first notch) and back which probably sat a hair taller than this. No problems in the four years I had it at the height. I might reconsider UCAs if I get excessive wandering once the warranty has expired.

No problem Steve, Was just curious to the number between the spring years. I’m in touch with a guy on Facebook he just added the 21-22 springs to his 24 and now getting the alignment done. I’m leaning that way also 21-22 springs. He said he likes it so far and the stance looks just like my 20 AG Pro did. I’m really surprised that the alignment specs would be that close to the 1.4 springs. Thank you.

So I finally got a call back from Eibach yesterday. The guy I left a message for was out all week last week and he called me back dirt thing this morning. He also confirmed that we can use the older springs as well. He said he gets this call quite often. Found that interesting. He also confirmed that adding 80-90 pounds up front would do nothing to settle the springs further. He said it may settle a couple mm’s but that would be it. He did offer up the new front springs and the load leveling kit for the rear if I wanted more than 1” of lift in the back. He said they haven’t released it yet for the newer models but it should be confirmed soon that it would work.

So for now, I think I will go with the 22 springs and see how it goes. I did find one Reddit thread about the Eibach springs having some issues but it was just one guy posting it. Everybody else seems to really like the Eibach spring setup. Keep us posted on the feedback you get from the Facebook group.

Hey Joseph, A guy I have been talking to on Facebook he has 24 Pro Terra. He just added the 21-22 springs and also did the JBA UCA’s which you do not have to. But he chose the lower spring over the 23-24 and so far he said he like it.

Id like to know what the front spring rate is, and it's different from the 21/22 and 23/24.

I know the eibach rear springs are the exact same. Trd pro red, and the silver pro truck both raise 1" and 205lb spring rate.

I’am probably wrong but the spring rate may be the same. The 23-24 spring is just taller with one more coil than the 21-22 springs.

I’m almost certain the engineer I talked to today said the same thing. No difference in spring rate. He said they kept them the same to maintain good ride quality.

I’m interested to see if anyone with the WD lift has removed the front spacer to see how that affected the ride. Seems like there would still be enough room for 285 with trd wheel. Also would mind the additional rake.

Looking forward to your thoughts. Would love to know if you load up the back of your 4Runner now with about 300# and load up with about 300# after the springs, how much squat do you get.

The 1.5. I chose the lower height because I don’t want to be the same height as my westcott lift or close to it.

I wish I could help you RiverDog. Really the only time I have loaded up was with my buddy’s trailer to take mowers out for service. Even then I had no squatting with the westcott lift on. I’m removing that and adding the Eibach because I had them on my 20 Pro when I had it.

Hope all goes well. Been running the westcott for a while so switching over and hoping I get out of it what I’m looking for.

Thank you. Looking forward to hearing if you have any issues with articulation with the 285's or rubbing. The only thing I heard, but could never confirm is the 2023 and 2024 fox shocks are valved differently, but who knows.

Hey RiverDog, A guy chatting on Facebook has the 24 Terra and he added the same springs and also changed his UCA’s and he was not happy with his alignment place because he has Method wheels and still running stock size tire and had rubbing had the mudflaps. Also to mention he does love how it rides and handles with the 21-22 springs. Also changing out your UCA’s don’t mean you won’t have rub. I have read numerous posts where guys have changed them out and still rubbed. After speaking with Eibach and what caster specs they had on both springs I feel my caster numbers are going to be much better and it will track better and still clear my 285’s with SCS wheels that I’m running.

I feel just being a little lower in the lift to what the westcott is giving me will work better for my alignment and wheels and tires I’am running. Hey I could be wrong but won’t know unless I roll the dice. Lol.

Hey John, I will make sure I ask my mechanic when I drop it off to let me know how hard it is to remove the bolts with the red lock on them.

Dang that is high. I like the 1.5" too because you can fine tune it with a very small top spacer.

Like UATahoe said, you having both and being able to directly compare them is going to be a perfect testimonial. Also, I believe the 1.4" lift kit gives the the PRO a total of a 2.4" front and 1.0" rear lift.

Westcott Designs did a YouTube video a little while back comparing the Eibach lift (1.4" front/"1 rear) vs. the standard WD lift (1.6" front/1.25" rear) vs. the higher WD lift (2.0" front) that I thought was helpful to compare in terms of stance.

Ok the verdict is in. I made the right move. Yes the westcott keep the Pro ride softer but I prefer the Eibach springs makes it a little more stiffer. Also my caster specs are better and no rubbing at full lock and can now add my Rockbloz mudflaps without the tires rubbing. It’s looks like it sitting just like my 20 AG Pro did with SCS wheels and 285’s. IMG_5410.jpg

Yes stiffer than westcott which I want. But I think it will loosen up over time.
