96 limited: Frame is in good shape, 270k, new tires/21'sr5 wheels, new front brakes, locker, 4wd. Was my first truck and lasted me 20 years, it has taken some beatings in the mountains, but still drives great. Hate to let it go, but seeing what you guys think ballpark I should sell for, or just drive it into the ground. IMG_2867.jpg IMG_2866.jpg IMG_2893.jpg

Really depends on your situation, etc. We’d be biased towards keeping or selling it to me for $3.50 but whether to hang onto it or not is also a question of what’s on your mind.

Tired of dealing with rubber things breaking? Or maybe thinking something with side airbags would be nice? Days of trail duty behind you so now you’re just living with the downsides of it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please fill out the location in your profile. I tried to figure out at least the state, but someone vandalized your license plate. I hope you were able to report it to law enforcement and have the vandals prosecuted. Nothing makes me madder, nothing, than seeing all the online pics of vandalized license plates, spray painted by a-holes.

They spray painted it blue of all colors! Gotta give it to the vagrants on FB marketplace.

    Location is Norfolk, VA.

Damn did you never drive it during the winter? Frame looks amazing for a Virginia vehicle.

You nailed it on all points really, outgrown with kids to feed. After posting I realized its more than likely the right move to sell for three fiddy.

California vehicle through 150k, Florida, Texas, then Virginia(military). Didn't use fluid film until I moved here in 21.

That would definitely be a tough one to get rid of after so long. What you get for it will never be equal to the time and money you’ve put into it.

I'm driving mine into the ground. I bought mine new in 2002 and it's gotten through raising 2 kids, has 291k miles and going strong. Every god damn thing works on it.

I for one, don't have any interest in new vehicles. They are $60k+ piles of plastic garbage. They look terrible. They constantly send telemetry home that gets sold to insurance companies to screw you over. They aren't half as reliable. They can't be fixed.

So, F it. I'm happy as a clam in my vintage indestructible 4x4.

Without seeing any interior pics, I’d say you are in the 6-8K range with that mileage.
Since nobody else wanted to throw out any numbers…thought I would.
I’m in the same boat with my 2002 with 173K on it. Don’t need it and insurance sucks, but I still
love driving it! Also think I would regret selling if I did.
However, the market overall seems to be softening. :stirthepot:
