The shiny spot just above the corner of the garnish is a crack/blister. Either the mold is slightly off when they’re made or they’re just fastened way to tight.

Gotcha. That makes sense on the like rush.

Yours in white primarily seems to be the gaps where the hood scoop meets hood, fuel filler door I think I am looking at and then the hatch trim where it meets sheet metal.

If I am looking at correctly.

I think with the white paint it’s just the luck of the draw. My 09 Taco in Super White has never been garaged in the 8 years I’ve owned it and I have no issues with my paint. Never been waxed or ceramic coated etc.

The paint on my 17 T4R Limited in Blizzard Pearl is great. Also not garaged in the 1.5 years I’ve owned it.

    Roof rack...for now
Does it depend if it was assembled in Japan or somewhere else? (Indiana, Mexico, Canada; etc)

I might not be interpreting the question right, but all 4Rs are assembled in Japan, so comparison between plants would pertain to other vehicles.
