Too poor to buy anything now
The 4R isn't known to be the ideal acoustic vehicle.

I spent a ton of time, money (thousands) and 2 expert high end car audio install shops to try and keep the stock head unit with several DSP tricks and all of them failed. The head unit needs to be replaced if you want to do it right.

You have a different stereo unless you replaced your 2019 with a newer model. I’m not sure how much improvement can be made on the pre 2020 model. I installed an Audison Prima package on the 2017 with noticeable improvement, but it wasn’t my vehicle and never got the opportunity to add any processing or amplification. I certainly didn’t get to live with it and perform a lengthy evaluation.

For a 2019 it would be easy to recommend replacing the stereo, for Carplay or Android auto if nothing else. The 2020+ has more features so it’s a different cost/benefit calculation.

The oemaudio+ system is designed around using the factory head unit, did you explore that as an option?

I tried out multiple DSP's and looked into oemaudio+ but they just didn't produce the sound quality i was looking for. Sounded so much better than stock, but just had too many side issues.

After doing our best to try and keep the stock head unit i went all out and got a Kenwood DMX 10.6. Completely blown away with the difference in sound and features. It was definitely the right decision to get the head unit, i can literally read codes and reset them besides the incredible audio control.
I could have saved so much money and time if i just did it to start.
