I'm on a 6464 Boxcar kit. Luckily they made these cars again in 1994, Mt. Clemens Michigan. These have springs in the trucks. I got it for like $12.00 in a 3 car kit. With the box (thats worth like twenty bucks) so you can store them.

 

Cool thread. But shouldn't those cars have graffiti on them?

 

They have those are like a hundred or so.

I turned a broke mantle into a shelf. Engine/tender are from like 36' and the car is from the 20's.

This train was running super slow. I mean like a slug. Both units are smoking, B unit was out of fluid. But, Ive dealt with this before. By giving it a short and resetting the speed control/turning it off. By full throttle neutral, half horn, then deacceleration to a 1/4 throttle.

Ive been dealing alot with Trainz.com in Buford, Georgia. I even fried an $1,100 Challenger and they exchanged it for another one. I mean these "Warbonnet" are from 2004 but dont look like they have ever been used I guess the speed control got locked in slow. You can set the speed control to go up and down hills at the same speed for crawling and heavy loads.

 

I added an unpowered 2243 inbetween the two Santa Fe's for more length. I will upload a video later.

 

I scored 1/43 Nascar flat cars, got Ernhardt, Gordon Johnson and Sterwart.

 

I wasnt going to do a Nascar thing but I got these cars for like $15-30 bucks, from a thrifter, one has paint on its not bad, and i had to glue a flat car looked like it got stepped on.
