I have finally gotten my dream vehicle for my 40th BDay - 4Runner. I have a Black 2015 SR5. I wanted the TRD model, but wasnt ready to part with that much $$$.

I am needing new tires and I wanted opinions on which tires I should get. I am also looking at changing out the OEM Rims as well.

I do not do any Off-Roading (I am a soccer mom) yet! Any and all suggestions would be great and appreciated.

howdy from TEXAS. I would suggest something like ALL- terrain
[basically all season with thicker tread and angled cuts, as to allow better traction on dirt, sand mud.]
    toyo open country (65k miles)
nitto (toyo little brother) g2 (65kmile)
    cooper discoverer A/T3 (60k mile)
    or
all season (intended for smooth/paved road)
    Micheline premier a/s (60k mile)
    uniroyal lorado touring (60kmile)
    Hankook dynapro hp2 (60k mile)

I would also do the BFG all terrain. They still look awesome and not too rugged. Perfect tire to stand out from the rest and look awesome at the same time. All those other soccer moms will be jealous.

Also any suggestions on a lift kit? 1” might be enough for now!!! I have younger kids that need to be able to get inside! However, I did install the running boards myself.

Well, i ended up with BFGOODRICH All terrain for the 2015. However, this past saturday, i traded it in for a 2018 TRD Off Road Premium. It had a 2” lift and Nitto tires. 285 70/17
