Please help—can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. On my 2023 40th anniversary, I can’t figure out how to light my 9005 halogens in high beam. Low beam lights the LED projectors. High beam changes the pattern on the projectors, but still only the projectors are lit. The 9005 halogens do not light. The bulbs aren’t bad. Both work as DRLs, and I even replaced one to verify. I can’t imagine what I’m doing wrong.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
You can activate the high beams a few ways:

    1) Push the stalk on the left forward (while the head lights are on) and waa-laa, you've got low beams and high beams. You'll see the blue indicator on the dash to verify this.
    2) Push the stalk on the left forward (again, while the lights are on), but press the "Auto" button found just to the left of the steering wheel. This will turn on your high beams automatically for you based on how dark it is. I have this feature enabled on my 2023 40th Anniversary.

    Hi,
Thanks for your response. This is what I’m doing. The high beam indicator is illuminated but the 9005 bulbs are off.

2022+ the 9005 are DRL only.

Both? Sounds like a fuse may be blown. Check under the hood. I think it's fuse #46? It's an 10A fuse.

You’ve got the same model. Do yours light in high beam? I’ll check the fuse to be sure.

Yes, they do light up. Here's a picture I just took to help.

Edit: My turn signal is a super bright switch back LED. The stock bulb is an old school little yellow bulb. I recommend upgrading this.

Mine is the same as yours. The 9005 is a 65W high brand bulb but it’s only used as a DRL application. Thanks.

your hi and low beams should be LEDS in the projector i believe and that 9005 is just a DRL only b
