RCTA/BSM only on TRD Sport as an option for 2024?

I was going to wait for the 2025s, but instead, if I could find a 2024 equipped as I like, I think I would go for it.

Using the 2024 Sales Brochure, it appears that only the TRD Sport trim has RCTA/BSM (rear cross traffic alert with blind spot monitoring) and then, it's only in the Technology Package option. But is that right?

When I search the forum for RCTA I see that some owners have RCTA on other trims on older models. I wonder if I am missing something or the sales brochure is in error?

How many of you have RCTA/BSM and on what 2024 trims?

I would like a moonroof for ventilation while sleeping inside, so that will limit me to one of these:

    Limited (moonroof standard)
    TRD Pro (moonroof standard)
    SR5 Premium with Moonroof option
    TRD ORP with Moonroof option.

I got this straight from Toyota's website.

Hmm, the website and the specs brochure don't agree. Maybe some 2024 owners will still weigh in.

What brochure are you talking about? Take a picture and show us. Regardless, the website for Toyota said that all trim levels get this option. I actually think it's federally mandated now for all vehicles.

I pulled up some window stickers that show BSM and RCTA listed under standard equipment for Limited Trims. That pretty well settles it for me.

Sometime in the past couple years, I'm pretty sure BSM/RCTA became standard but I can't say when. It looked like an SR5 I considered that was newer had them.

My 2024 TRD PRO has RCTA and BSM. No remote start though.

Have you checked your Toyota app? I think the Pro should have remote start from the app.

    Thanks everybody. Have found
glitches in both the printable info from Toyota and the build and price info online. Love the forum for getting to the bottom of things.

I can see how the OP would be confused. Look at the this page from the 2024 brochure.

Press the lock button on the fob 3 times quickly and hold the 3rd press. It’ll start after a couple of seconds.

Thanks all. You were right, I was wrong. I assumed that since the Key Fob doesn't have remote start button, that the vehicle wasn't configured as such. Even the dealer ( don't start, I have no faith in dealerships either) said it did not have that option.

    I appreciate the education folks.
