1999 4Runner. just bought used, high miles.
had run fine. even at night. had to park at someones house for a week. may have been tampered with? battery dead had to jump; changes the ECU?

Turn on headlights, they dont light up. push for high beam and those light up.

indicator, P barely on. R solid on. D barely on. while in Drive? turn the high beam to lo and just D is on.

and the transmission works. high beam? the 3 lights are on, trans slips.

Truck was owned by a young person, it has 375,000 miles and for that is in good shape but they wired in a stereo amp and LED strips around the headlights which are nice, only one side works; and idk what was spliced into.

Can anyone please share the part of the wiring diagram that includes headlights and anything going into the transmission? I look on ebay there is the manual but its $199. The goal is to make the truck work then sell it. I need it until I can find another. this was kept in a garage and all but it will need to be gone thru.

    thanks

Your writing is unclear. You sound like an asshole too, but I'm going to try and help you anyway. I don't know if this manual will have the schematic you need, but it may help in other ways.

I know I had to learn what a "pernundel" is. :) It's a perfectly cromulent word however.

Regardless, remove or disconnect ALL aftermarket electrical parts.

The problem is, there are so many wires, you really need to full schematic to the vehicle. It will tell you where stuff goes.

The link that was posted above by user that'smy4runner...

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-...Rk0/view?resourcekey=0-k0T54_ZTyWJtWYFpeKyvvQ

That actually is a good copy. The electrical system starts on page 1871 of the PDF.

It is for a 2002...but I have found most wires are coded the same.

some wires stay the same like in the EFI. 99 to 2002 transmission controls didnt change? cant reference it.

must be a 1999 Toyota 4Runner electrical system wiring diagram or cant use it.

Yes I Demand! I have waited over two days for an answer. This is intolerable. If you are not able to find the information, someone else will be.

Like I said good luck, who do you think you are to DEMAND anything from the members here, what do they owe you that you think they have to find the info you seek for you instead of you finding it yourself????

With just your attitude I wouldn't give you the information you seek even if I had that info, find it yourself!!!

If you are not able, do not feel bad. Not everyone knows the complexity of wiring diagrams and I do not wish you to be upset.

The search has been extensive, wrong schematics (diagrams), ebay selling the manual for $899. your assertion I have not sought the material myself is incorrect. But again do not concern yourself. It is a complex thing.

    God, I love internet fights.

Regardless, I did find 1998 headlight and transmission diagrams. They are indeed different from 2002. They should be close to 1999? I can't seem to find the exact 1999 version.

I have attached the 1998 PDFs to this post.
