I have an AC Evaporator that is leaking onto my passenger floor. The casing has a crack from an accident the previous owner was in and the body shop/mechanics that worked on the truck, sealed the crack with high temperature sealant from the looks of it. If I need to I will add more sealant, but wish to replace the entire part. Anyone have any leads on Denso part #448800-4630?? I’ve read the part is discontinued and am having trouble finding one everywhere I look.

8850135050 is the correct part number. The one you have doesn't look correct for anything I can find.

I will search up the number you provided. The number I typed in the original post is on the casing under my dash.

It’s the casing I’m after. The core/cooler works fine (or am I wrong and that’s what’s causing the leak?). My evaporator casing has a crack that was sealed with what looks like JB Weld. I’ve found evaporator units (full assembly) for other trims but they don’t match the numbers on mine (photo above).

Toyota does seem to sell the case as well...but it appears to be 2 parts, a upper section and a lower section, I'm assuming you need the lower section(?).

    Lower section

    Upper section

I’m assuming it’s the lower section as well. I may just reseal the crack so I can use my AC in the mean time. It blows cold, but could be colder. Perhaps I should clean the evaporator first, seal the casing and purchase a new lower and upper so it’s all done correct.

    thank you for the help.

Ok, yeah, the case is entirely different. Might be a junkyard only part now.

I'd probably try flex seal to be honest.
