What are yall using for support in the center console?

I do have some Amazon cover but my elbow seems to dig in deep.. so I've added a 1/2 foam insert but it'd a little too soft.. anyone else's elbow feel like it's just carving a spot in the center console?

I used a neoprene cover, which adds a good bit of cushioning and cleans easily.

Have a link by chance? I'm not destroying mine yet, but I'm fairly confident it's going to start to discolor or something because I'm constantly resting my arm on it.

    Thanks,
    Tim G.

Got this one from 4runnerlifestyles.com, it matches the seats. Also, it has enough padding so my elbows don't get sore.

Agreed. It’s nice and grippy and not slippy. Cushy at the same. I’d buy it again.

By chance, is this the one they have listed for $69.99? The one I found on their site didn't have the logo on it and from the description, it didn't mention what material it was made of. From the pics, it looked like it had kind of a dull finish like wetsuit material (neoprene) which me no-likey. I bought seat covers from Wet Okole for an old Jeep a million years ago and found out that neoprene wears out overnight.

    Thanks,
    TimG

What about the door arm rest or lack there of? I would love to see some type of accessory to the top of door that provides a wider spot for my elbow to rest. That’s a skinny arm rest area and I have skinny arms. Lol!

This doesn't make it any wider, but it works great for me and it's really comfortable. After a couple weeks, I added one to the passenger side, too.

This is the one I got (https://www.4runnerlifestyle.com/co...er-lifestyle-center-console-cover-for-4runner). It is made out of marine-grade vinyl. Most covers that I seen are not made of leather, it is either cloth or neoprene.

To each his own, but I’m not repping their company and paying $90 to do so. Now if a company wants to pay me to advertise for them, I might consider it.

I thought I remember reading some where- either previously on this board or perhaps the other 4RUNNER message board, that folks have had trouble dealing with 4RUNNER LIFESTYLE, either orders are delayed, poor quality, difficulty returning items, etc.

Either way, for grins and giggles I just checked their site for this item. It says it's sold out. I'm interested in something like this though. I'm going to order it from some where. I'll post pics here once I get it and install it. I'm always resting my arm on that center arm rest. I've been using a hand towel over it to protect the arm rest.

I like the 4runner Lifestyle one, but not a fan of the logo. I did see it was sold out as well.

I need something, but not sure which product yet.

image1.jpg I got the 4Runner Lifestyle one after finding out it’s made by PRP a company that builds racing seats, like Beard, for both on and off-road applications. I had a set of PRP seats in a dune buggy I once owned and they took severe abuse and no tears, unraveling and resisted stains!
