    Oooh look, another mod.....
I took my truck to the car wash (again) today and when I was drying it off, I noticed this piece was hanging off my truck. It was still partially on the truck, but much of it was flopping over the driver side of the truck.

I inspected the area (and dried it), there was no damage that I could see. I was able to just slide it back into place. It doesn't look like it clips or snaps into place; but it does sort of fit under the roof rail. I guess that stops the wind from blowing it off.

Has this happened to anyone else? It feels like a random/rare-ish thing to happen. I think one of those car wash roller brushes got lucky and dug under it just enough to pop it out.

I have an appt with my dealership next Saturday for the 10k mile service. I'll mention it to them when I arrive and see what they have to say about it. If they even care.

Used to happen to me all the time. I put a couple of dabs of silicone caulk on a few points along the strip. Problem solved and not totally permanent either.

Happened to me as well a couple of times. I guess sometimes car wash brushes are too stiff, I just inspect roof after car wash and put this piece back in if it was hanging.

Never happened to mine, but i have a pre 2020. Silicone should do the trick.
