just recently put portal on my 4Runner Trail edition.
so far it is just portals and 35" Nitto trail grapplers and methods.
have not done anything else yet but will soon do sliders, bumper and winch.
here are a few pics so far ill keep posting updates as the build progresses
let me know what you think!

Love the color! What's the additional clearance you get with these compared to stock? Looks great by the way!

no speed restrictions other than it being a slow 4Runner to start lol
i still do 80 on the highway to and from work everyday.
22% gear reduction in the portal and i only put about a 15% larger tire so im geared about 7% deeper than stock and stock tires. 3.73 in the stock diffs times 1.22 in then portal gives me a 4.55 final drive i used to run 80MPH at like 2100 rpm now its around 2300 rpm but drives great. driving it to big bear for Pure 4x4 in 2 weeks to wheel a few trails up there. we'll video it and ill post that when its up.

You win the first post award! I’d love to hear your thoughts as you put miles on it.
Because it’s probably cheaper and easier to run than a Unimog?

What are your plans for steering upgrade, since that's usually the first thing to fail with larger tires on this platform?

I see a cab mount relocation. Which company's kit did you go with, Stellar Built?

    Update!
ended up putting a 1" spacer on top of the shock to level it out and give me a little more room up front. built some sliders last weekend that turned out great and held up to abuse all weekend.
went to the Pure 4x4 event in big bear for the maiden voyage after the built and it went flawless!
