On my 2022 SR5 Premium, I keep getting a message on my center dash that says something to the effect of “Attention Check Rear Seat”. What the hell is that all about?

I tried finding something about it in the owner’s manual, but don’t see anything, but maybe I missed something.

Does anyone else get this message popping up? I can’t see or find anything wrong with my rear seat. All the fold away, seat belt, tilt back, and head rest functions work perfectly fine.

My SR5P DOES NOT have the third row seating option.

I think it's to remind you to check for kids in the back seat in case you are a terrible parent. :)

It's a safety message for people prone to forgetting about their children in child seats on hot days. I think there's a way to turn it off.

    None yet.
I believe it can be turned off on the app via your phone, at least that’s the case with my 2014 and the entune app.

It's a setting that needs to be turned off in the app. It's checking if the seat belt is still connected or a kid has not been left in the backseat or if you have a heavy car seat installed in your backseat, the car thinks there is a kid there.
Under your app, setting and then notifications.

Oh for crype sakes. Seriously? Here I thought it was trying to tell me there was something wrong. Old man cave man here coming out of an antique ‘06 Tundra, not up to speed on all this stupid big brother- nanny-sticking their nose in where it doesn’t belong horse shit.

My Mom and Dad never forgot they had us kids in the back seat, and my wife and I NEVER forgot about our daughter in the car back seat back in the day.

The dumbing down of America here folks! Dam!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I’m going to see what I can do about cancelling that repetitive message.

Same for me tonight. I have a seat cover on and my wife's workout mat is on the seat. Maybe that's it?

You don't need app, there is an in-dash option to turn it off.

Too poor to buy anything now
Just buckle the seat belts in the back seat.

The only reason I clicked on your post because I misread the title. “Rear seat massage”. I was like that sounds cool.
