I was curious if anyone had swapped 2nd gen Tundra LCAs onto a 4Runner and didn't find a single example. I am guessing they would be longer than what is on the 4Runner, allowing for increased downtravel. I am assuming they can't be installed easily, otherwise people would be doing this instead of buying anything aftermarket. I might just grab one of these Tundra LCAs from a junkyard to do a comparison. Thoughts?

Funny you should mention that. Kai (tinkerers adventures) just posted a video on the new gx550 and in one of his comparisons he had a truck (don’t remember what model) that had tundra lcas. The one concern I’d have is how much is the cv stretched and at what point does it become a problem?

    Interesting question though.

I'm going to say probably not swappable but I'm not sure and if they are wider you would have to match the length with the uppers.
