2021 SR5 Lower Valance Front Bumper Upgrade

looking to replace or put a black bumper over the existing lower bumper on the front of my car. Do I need to replace the entire lower bumper or is there a black overlay bumper that I can just place right on top of the existing one?

 

You just need the cover/valance and clips. You would also need to Dremel out the holes for it as well. It just goes over your existing bumper.

 

And these will work for the SR5?

Sure, after you cut all the slots on your bumper and get the clips to hold it on

Thats because Im not sure anyone does.

OR and ORP models have the valence bumper, could find someone local to swap if they dont like the look.

 

If you don't already have the OR/PRO bumper this seems like more work than it's worth. Just find a used OR bumper used in your color. If you want to attempt it, you'd have to buy the valence and then drill holes for each of the (13 I believe) clips that hold the valence on and hope you get them all aligned correctly.

 

Instead of adding a valence just go to a reputable vinyl wrap shop and blackout whatever you want to blackout.

The valences suck and I've seen a few front and rear valences fall off during wheeling.
I've seen more people switch to non valence bumpers for this reason.

I thought of adding these as well but it since so many owners do this mod, you are actually more unique by leaving it as is.

This gives you an idea on the install. Note you would have to drill out 12 or so holes because you have an SR5. There are markings on the inside of the bumper cover.
