TRD Pro Grille Upgrade

Looking for personal experience or opinion on an aftermarket or OEM TRD grille. I obviously want it to look as clean as possible (lettering and side edges/fitment). Saw 2 different ones in person this weekend and one was terrible. And with price ranging from $140-$500+. I would like to add the raptor lights too. What you got?

 

Do not add raptor lights. That is, unless you want random electrical problems soon after installing them?

 

The aftermarket Pro grill I got from Cartrimhome fits like crap and the black paint part is starting to flake off.

 

Raptor lights only look good on Raptors, IMO. But for the Pro grille, just stick to an OE one. That way you know it will fit right and actually last.

 

I feel so spoiled my 40th came with the pro grille.

 

I think the 40th has the best look of all 4Runners, including the decal. I do however like the valances.

Their products seem to hold up just fine. Add the lights if you like them. Lotta folks on here don't like em. Make you happy. It is your vehicle.

 

I put the Yota Expedition pro grill on my wife’s 4runner and the fit is terrible. They shipped a 2nd one saying they had quality issues and it was worse than the 1rst one. Also, the Raptor light LEDs have already began to fail. Less than 6 months.

 

I got my grill from 4runnerlifestyle. I wanted the stealth one without the letters. The fitment is just like all the others, a gap on each side but right to the body.

My raptor lights are cheap ones from Amazon, cuz i didn't know how u would like them in person. But have had them on for a year now with no issues. So no use paying high prices on the resell sites until these burn out.

While I was waiting at my local Toyota service department, I inquired about a TRD pro grill for my ORP. He couldn't find what I was looking for and kept showing me the limited grill options. Does anybody here have a part # for the required pieces for the pro grill? ( I think I would need the "Toyota" cover plus the upper grill? ) Thanks all in advance.

 

While on the subject I have question.....
Is the factory grill that comes on the TRD Pro just a stick on like aftermarket? Or is it all one piece. And are the letters screwed on or stick on?
I have never seen one up close.
