Steering wheel shake and pull. KO2s to blame?

    Last month I bought right off the transport truck a 24 ORP with 4 miles on it. But before I said I’d take it I wanted a road test on the highway. With just a light finger tip pressure on the wheel l took it up to 50 and then a slow increase to 60. No shake .
    And then I took my hands off the wheel and took it up to 65 . Still no shake or shimmy . The salesman had a “WTF” look on his face when I looked over and said “I’ll take it.” My wife was in the back seat and had a good laugh looking at the salesman.
    We’ll see if it stays that way when I go tire shopping next week .

    FYI SPC UCAs have had bad bushings for over 5 years. Do not buy them! It’s not worth your time with the shitty customer service. Go with anything else! Anything

    A rebalance at a shop that knows what they're doing as @Thatbassguy said.

    Also, get the run-out numbers from the guy doing the balance. If there are tires over 20, those are causing your issue. Replace those or put them in the back and put the ones under 20 in the front. Only problem is if you rotate them back to front they will shimmy.......so no rotations.

    This is 100% where I am at! I have KO2s and they ride perfect. (After having them re-road force balanced a month after I put them on). With as few of miles as I drive I was going to rotate yearly but have since decided to just leave them alone as long as I don’t see some glaring wear issue. This wouldn’t work for everyone but if you don’t put lots of mileage - just leave well enough alone. My tire replacement goal is every 4-5 years and I don’t see a problem making it. I’m not trying to open up a can of worms about tire rotation … but when it comes to certain off road tires- it can be a pain to dial them in.

    Yep. If your tires are out of warranty or replacing them is too expensive at the moment, going the no rotation route is always an option.
