My buddy's younger brother called me 10 minutes ago "hey can you help me out. I'm in a bit of a situation"

Haha it was wicked easy. He just didn't have enough seat time to know what to do to get out easily. He tried putting bits of wood under the tires, which is a good start, but the angle of the wood, as seen in one of my previous pics, was way too steep to gain traction with wet muddy tires. He also didn't try turning full lock to get out, he only tried turning the wheels a little either way before giving up to not dig in more, which was smart. I went full lock passenger and it climbed right out.

When he called, the first thing I asked was "did you air down at all?" "....what do you mean?" "...oh boy!" Lol. I'm gonna take him out in a few weeks and teach him some good tricks and techniques.

Do you know who he is? Kind of curious what he had on his rack and in what manner he had them secured.

Yes and no. You can go alone if you have the proper skills and equipment to get yourself out of almost any situation, but as a noob, never go alone.... I speak from experience. I was in the same situation 2 years ago

Sadly yes...but I'd imagine you would have to keep your foot planted hard. I already find it difficult to hold 70-72 on the highway. But Prius drivers around here blow by me like I'm sitting still.

I'd actually like a CT or FRS/BRZ as a commuter, but I fear the FRS would be another money pit.

I burn like Hell once a summer, then it's all tan, but boy is it bad

Sounds to me like you have some eastern European skin

I don't like to let prius' pass me on principle, but the 4runner isn't quite as quick anymore. I've looked into buying an early 2000's turbo subie to DD, but I know it'd suck more money than the 4runner. They can be had for cheap though
