Bought my first 4Runner also my first Toyota

Hello everyone,

This is my first 4Runner/Toyota product its a 2013 4Runner limited I bought from a local Toyota dealership 1 owner vehicle prior to me. It has 170k miles on it but it drives like it has way less my first impressions are very good and I am looking forward to owning and driving this vehicle.

ps. The dealer did order a center wheel cap to replace the missing one but of course the dealers systems were down when I was buying this 4Runner so who knows when that will show up.

 

Congrats, nice color. Believe it or not, not much has changed. You have the same truck as I do, and mine is 2023 lol. Yours is just more comfy and nice.

Do you intend to take it offroad? If yes, get some AT tires, flat tires can ruin the day.

 

I was planning to replace the tires eventually with https://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/falken/wildpeak-a-t4w/p/TV00848983025517 my friend recommended these. From the research we did they will fit the stock 20" rims.

 

Those are amazing tires. My buddy's Gladiator has them, he went to Death Valley and back, no complaints.

 

yeah its just going to have a be a little before I can get them since I gotta save up. Good thing is the current ones look decent and will do fine for now.

 

I see you're in Michigan. What does the under side look like i.e.rust/corrosion? Do they use a lot of salt on the roads during winter? Just asking.

Before I bought it crawled underneath it to check the frame rails they seemed pretty clean for an about 10 year old Michigan car I would like to get some underside protectant applied looking at NHOil there is a guy who I can bring it to by me to get it applied. They use salt in my area during the winter but luckily I work from home.
