    Anyone know where this piece goes? I'm guessing in the dash somewhere? I had a couple friends over when i was dissembling the interior of my car and had to take some work calls so walked away and wasn't able to keep track of everything.

    Yeah, it looks like it came from the underside of the dash. I'll go take a peek. BRB.

    Nope, I didn't find anything that looks like that. I looked under the dash on both sides, in the glove box, in the center console, around both front seats, in the doors. I briefly hoped it was the cabin air filter door, but mine doesn't look like that at all.

    I'm at work so I can't help much but... is it this piece, it kind of fits out of view between the base of the center stack, and the front of the center console?

    I just peeked at that and I think you're probably right. It's about the right length and width and it has that surface texture. I can't tell whether the edge matches without doing surgery.

    I remember seeing this piece before a few years ago when I tore apart some of this area on my old 4Runner... I would bet money this is where it goes :D
