I have a 2022 TRD Pro with 7400 miles on it. I am getting this pronounced chirp or squeak in the suspension on rougher roads, perhaps left front not sure, I have sprayed all the bushings both sides in front with silicone so far and greased the hood pads. Still got the noise. The noise gets more pronounced on long trips. perhaps the anti-sway bar? I havn't done that yet. I also silicone sprayed around the steering shaft where it enters the cab. Still have the squeak/chirp. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The hood latch is what makes this sound on otherwise perfect 4runners. Pop the hood, and wipe the latch clean where it makes metal to metal contact with the catch. Then put a thin film of grease over the contact points on the latch on the hood, and the catch mechanism. Not a lot, literally only grease on the shiny metal spots.

You’ll need to do this every oil change or so for street driving, or after driving for extended periods off road where you are flexing the vehicle a lot.

You could try to put a little preload on the hood latch by raising the bumpers where the hood lands on the front corners (by the headlights). This might keep it quieter for longer. However don’t keep raising them every time it happens, otherwise the front weatherstripping wont seal and you’ll get a mess in there when it rains, or worse, a salt bath in slushy snowy conditions.

See notorious for squeaking at the mounting points but usuall's when they get older and the rubber starts to turn brittle.
