New Member 3rd Gen

Hello friends,

New member from Long Island. I own a 2002 SR5. Bought it in March 2023 with 84k original miles… one owner.

I didn’t know this forum existed as I was a member of the other one. Looking forward to getting a ton of info from here!

I bought almost the exact same, 2000 SR5 sport package 4x4, silver with tan leather...
bought from original owner with 90K miles on it...that was in 2004 and 150K miles ago

as long as you don't have any rust...you got a great truck that will last another 20 years

If the radiator has not been changed out, you should do that before you get the 'pink milkshake'

The radiator was changed by first owner. This is actually my second 3rd gen . My first was a 1996 SR5.

I’m actually having an issue with a hesitation in the engine. I have 94 k miles on it now. It’s my daily. I’m going to do some more research on here and hopefully someone else has a fix for it!

 

When does it hesitate?
From starting from a stop?
When driving and you go full throttle, does it seem to hiccup, then go?

Have you replaced the plugs and wires?
Cleaned the MAF and throttle body?
