    completely stock

the weekend beach trip with mixed driving and about 2 hours of 70-80mph showed 20.75 mph hand calculated. I was pleasantly surprised coming from a 2wd Armada that would struggle to get 18, but was a dream on the highway.
How much would a 1” level and 275/55r20s mild a/ts affect the gas mileage?

    Oooh look, another mod.....

The tires (depending on what brand you choose) will weigh about the same, so the mileage impact may be very very minimal, if at all.

Wait till you drive between 55 and 65. That would push it to 22+

I've always been pleasantly surprised with the mileage when driving freeway at a reasonable speed.

Going from a 245 to 275 width tire will impact your mileage, moreso if you pick a heavy one. A 1" lift to the front only will also ding you slightly. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 2MPG dip if you do both.

    The change is minimal though:

+12.5% width is a pretty substantial increase in contact area IMHO.

In all my reading on here, mods such as tire size changes and lifts definitely have a negative impact. I've not read about any mods that improve MPGs. Stock setup seems to be the pinnacle for fuel economy.

Yeah, bro is only looking at the diameter and ignoring the wider patch and higher weight.
