Can anyone confirm if the Toyota LF transfer case fluid comes in a plastic bottle now instead of a metal can? I am trying to make sure what I received is authentic. Attempted to order through closest dealership and they said the LF is not available at this time and they can’t ship it. So I ordered through Amazon which I hate to do with all the fake parts they have on there. Also tried to find Redline MT-LV which seems to be out of stock everywhere and Redline said it will be about 2 months till they get some to sell on their website. Thank you for your help.

Ravenol 75w is what I been using. The container and self contained spout is WAY more convenient than the Toyota can anyway. Probably cheaper but I've never compared. For me the availability and convenience is the trade off from using the unobtainium oil.

Too much risk with Amazon between inventory co-mingling, switching between sellers quietly, etc. Heck, it could be the same style of packaging but something else thrown in like those motor oil bulk hand sanitizers that popped up during COVID-19 times.

I'd return it and continue the hunt.

If you really want to do something now, you can use 75W-90 in the transfer case and be done with it until next time or switch to your preferred fluid later when available if you're particular. (I went for MT-LV, but read 75W-90 works fine.)

Some dealers might sell on eBay/Amazon too but you'd have to verify them.

Looks like European packaging, Toyota P/N 08885-81081 (instead of 08885-81080 normally sold in North America).
    German site selling it: https://ato24.de/en/toyota-transfer-gear-oil-75w-lf-1-l.html
    UK site selling it: https://www.roughtrax4x4.com/1-litre-genuine-toyota-transfer-case-gear-oil-lf-75w.html
Note the much lower retail markup Toyota puts on the oil in Europe.

I'd run it, just to tell people you're running imported T-case oil from Germany. :D
