I have been thinking about this thing for awhile now. How your experience has been?

So I just watched some videos on the Marlin Crawler website because I didn’t know what the heck you were talking about, I thought it might be a fishing lure, ha! But wow, that is one trick unit that would be a super addition to any serious rock crawler’s arsenal. Having the drive shaft(s) lengths adjusted is no big deal and not that expensive, I just had my Chevelle’s drive shaft shortened/balanced for a new (different) transmission and it only cost $350.00, that included new Spicer U-joints front and rear. I don’t feel like the cost of the unit is overly expensive, based on the engineering involved in bringing it to market. I say “green light” on that purchase as it could save your butt in any sketchy situations, also lowering the pucker factor during heavy crawling episodes.

Richie from Boston has done it, and there is another guy on the forum who did it too, I just can’t recall his handle. Success is in the install, it seems a little complicated and the complaint I’ve heard is tcase leaks.

Integrating it into the console is another thing that requires attention.

I might want to do it at sometime but I’d have to think long and hard about it.

I’d be obliged if someone would do it and document it for the rest of us!

I will call them on Monday and ask them if they themselves do it or not. They do their suspension kit, that they told me. Their shop is in Fresno, California
