New shoes....and socks?!(not sure what to refer to the wheels as)

    Wheels are ProComp 5001 17x8 0 offset.
Tires are stock size wildpeaks. No vibration  no rubbing and no noticeable difference is sound from the tires. They ride really smoothly and IMO the look is waaay better than stock.

Hey All , Just recently changed out all my interior lights (except the 2 vanity mirror lights) to LED's . Very nice change and difference from what Toyota gives you as a standard light . Got mine from Precision LED and received them in 4 days from California . Easy site to order from and they give you a few options as far as how you can order the lights . The puddle lights (in bottom of outside mirrors) seem a little more involved to change out and will take that on when i have more time , different videos i have watched have people doing it 2 different ways , taking the mirror off first or leaving the mirror on and just taking the back housing part of the mirror off . Not sure which way is better so i am taking my time with this change . Have included a few pictures of the interior lights to see the difference . 20180813_134137[1].jpg 20180813_153039[1].jpg 20180813_142826[1].jpg 20180813_154353[1].jpg 20180813_155833[1].jpg 20180813_162816[1].jpg

Was on shift all weekend, so,... took some time on site, to add a constant hot to my dash camera.

On the left, my old, cig lighter supply/cable, my old window mount. On the right, the hard wire kit (china made, but, it was a dope lil kit, with everything ya need, and it came quick) meter to find constant hot, new window mount that has GPS, the camera and other supplies.

    20180812_121739.jpg

Found cabin fuse block, and found a constant 12v.

    20180812_122958.jpg

    Fused wire in, ground on......

    20180812_125852.jpg

Turned on the GPS in camera menu, set up G-SHOCK. Turned on the PARKING mode. Movement, starts it right up. Started with the Gshock on high, and it was WAY to sensitive. For fun, i looked at what went down last night, and wow, .. it basically recorded all night lol. A leaf in my back yard would move, and it would start recording. Set it to medium., whippped out all filles to start over, and well see. I want it to catch things, but, not record 23 hours outta the day.
GPS/longitute/lattitue and SPEED is rad to have on screen, records great quality vids front, and in cabin. I back in park the runner, and if i park right, the camera sees property line, to property line. I already have 2 front, outdoor cameras, but, its neat to toss this one in the mix, and catch anyone, or anything going down in front of my pad, but more so, for the retards out on the road.

The tie down spots for when the truck is in transport or on a flatbed. Not a good idea to use them as a real tow point if you're really stuck.

The shackles are just on the factory tie down point right now. I used them ones when I just needed a gentle pull out of some mud (when I had highway tires).

They will not hold up for any serious recovery or snatch strap. Couple guys in the local 4Runner group have actually seen then snap off.

When I get back I’ll be ordering the true recovery points from Josh over at Apex Overland. They’ll hold up to anything you throw at them.

Do you have a link to the recovery point you've referenced?

What's that burning smell? Oh yeah...my credit card!

    Thank you Sir!

Now I'll have to see if I can wiggle my fat-a$$ under the front end to install.

Jealous of all of these beautiful shots. Looks like I've got to get out more so mine can enjoy more than just a Costco trip!
LED conversion, running boards, bug deflector, vinyl accents to logos and wheels (thanks MtnRdr!) and now that I've seen a few of these I'm going to have to tint and go with new tires!20180716_142102.jpg 20180713_200013.jpg 20180713_195937xx.jpg

Installed a 16ft Camp trailer! 3200 dryweight, max 3800. I figure with gear and water and some passengers in the back I’ll be close to 3500.

The water alone is almost 300lbs, so I could fill that as I get closer to where we
Would be camping to save on weight.

Pulls ok, the biggest challenge will be steep canyon roads.

Has anyone towed this size camper with a Tacoma?

    What is your towing experience?
