I hope this is normal but I just received my CBI Covert Baja front bumper and the packaging was fine, no damage but when I removed the outer packing the far back left bracket that stickers out the back of bumper is bent inwards. Is this normal? The right side is perfectly straight, but there is no obvious damage to the left side, no skuffs, etc. I am just curious if I am overthinking or if other CBI bumper owners can confirm this should be perfectly straight like on the other side.

Shipping damage for sure. I’d just knock it back out.

Lol hey if that's what it takes! Would that affect the integrity of it though?

I put a cloth over it and slowly started whacking it and it is starting to straighten out! No damage to powder coat if I take my time.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
If it's bent out of shape and you bend it back into shape and then leave it alone, you'll be fine. But if it bends back and forth over and over, then it weakens the material and increases the risk of having a point of failure.

Sounds good, thanks. I'll make sure to bend it just enough to fit and leave it alone.
