Some aftermarket parts and mods are starting to pop up already. I bet the aftermarket parts are going to be big for the new LC and 4Runner.

I wonder how much the hybrid 4Runner and LC will be able to share.

As much as I complain about the commonalities between Tacoma, 4runner, and LC, the hope that parts from one will fit another has big potential upsides. Assuming Toyota hones the reliability of these models over the next 10 years, it may make sourcing parts easier if you are in far-away places, whether speaking of factory replacement parts, or aftermarket parts/mods.

Ford’s Sasquatch package on Bronco would be a great idea for Toyota to copy on LC & 4R. They could easily rehash the already familiar “Trail” name.

Just the basic good stuff: lift, locker, tires, mild suspension tune, cool Trail badge. Make it accessible on an LC 1958 or a 4R SR5 4x4.

Or just longer front upper and lower control arms so it gains actual travel rather than the fake wider track via larger wheel offset.
