You can get the 2025 Camry all wheel drive for less than $30,000. It has 232 horsepower, and MPG of 51, yes 51, pretty crazy. Goodbye Tesla

But the question is, will we get a TRD Camry with the Tacoma motor? 465 ft lb, that would be one heck of a Camry

I had 2016 Camry Hybrid and no way you are getting 42 mpg on a non-hybrid. Especially combined. So you either have a hybrid but don’t know about it or that 42 is more like 24 and we call it a typo.

Honestly the new Camry is fantastic! Makes so much sense for a daily driver to be a hybrid standard. I might even get one later on. Love that they kept full HVAC buttons!

Only the LE trim gives 51 mpg, Prius is safe.

EPA says 39 on highway. Let’s say you can get 42 on the highway by driving below speed limit (I just hope that not in the left lane) but once you’re in city traffic that number drops. In order to get 42 average what do you think the hwy miles should be? Please feel free to use mathematics in your explanation.

Toyotas get better MPG than the EPA rating. Hell, I'm getting EPA rating with my 34 inch KM3s and 4.88, when I am behaving myself on the highway.

If the EPA says 51, rest assured, some Uber driver will squeeze 60 out of the thing

My wife has a 2018 Lexus IS 350 and wants to choose a simpler car with better gas mileage (tired of putting in 91). This may be the one.

I suggest you get the LE, it comes with all safety stuff and a full sunroof. And it is the only trim that gives 51 mpg. No need to spend more on other trims

    I like it!

    (the duality of man)

I’ve spent enough time cramming my bike into a sedan to not want one again - especially with how long they can get for the utility. But man if I were to get one again the Corolla and Camry Hybrids sure look nice.

Alex on Auto’s showed that the Camry still has a (donut) spare tire under the trunk floor! My SO and a friend of ours both had blowouts in the past couple years so glad to see spares are alive and well in Toyota-land - unless you’re buying a Prius Prime (understandable) or Corolla Cross Hybrid (less so)

In my region the ethanol free gasoline is usually $1 more than regular gas. I’m not sure how much more you have to pay but just wondering if that is part of your financial analysis.

it's not really hard to get better MPG than EPA (not saying it's going to be a fun ride though)
I can easily get 21 mpg on the freeway with the 4R if I set cruise control at 65 mph even though EPA says 19mpg.
Wife has an elantra hybrid and EPA says 49/52 mpg. She gets 58 to 62 mpg combined on a tank year around. She doesnt drive fast at all but she doesnt drive below the speed limit either

Once the 4R is paid off I will likely grab up one of these to use as a daily.

Then the 4Runner will become the dedicated adventure vehicle...

Nice I have 34k as well! Planning to move further from the city. Consequently I will have a longer commute...

The Crown Signia might be right up your alley!

As long as you ignore the expected price compared to the Camry here…

I can’t understand how the crown is so much more expensive than the Camry, but there should be more of both on the road

A brand new little gas sipping Toyota eCVT, that’s pretty cheap, is so appealing to me as a compliment to a 4Runner. I’m eyeing up the $25K Corolla hybrid. WAY better deal than a Prius.
