I have the Lockerdown version and it works great.

Thanks but it's too bulky and awkward looking and not suitable to carry a pistol in. Plus being above the door line, you are visible to everyone outside every time you access it in a parking lot

Do you have the "regular" or "extreme" and which kind of lock do you have?

Can't speak for the quoted poster, but I have the Lock'Er Down Exxtreme with the 10 gauge lid and the metal-encased push button lock. 100% satisfied through almost a year of use in my '23.

One more question - Does it have a manual key override? It doesn't appear to from the website?

Also have the Lock’er down, went with the keypad lock. Have had it for years, took it out of my 13 and put it in my new 23. Great product.

It does not. Keypad is battery powered and starts giving an audible alarm when power for 300 unlock attempts remain.

If you get an oem version be careful setting the combo. I slipped holding the paperclip while setting the combo but had it blocked from shutting or I'd been screwed. Had no idea where the combo #'s was when it slipped but got a new lock at the hardware store for $15.

Just the regular one with the 4 dial standard lock.

How does it mount? Is it bolted to the floor through the bottom of the locker? Just wondering how difficult it would be for someone to try from the vehicle?

It comes with longer bolts that you use to install it in the console. You remove the existing liner and two bolts, then use the longer bolts to attach it to the truck. It actually is really solid.

Thanks, that's good to hear. That console is something that I've been considering.
