Just traded the ol 3rd Gen Taco in for a 2024 T4R TRD ORP. I gotta say, I’m liking the 4.0

Me too. I just went from a 99 Taco 2.7... It's nice being able to do 70 on the highway. I don't get the gripes about the "4. slow" I do very much dislike having a computer screen in the middle of my dashboard though. Honestly, this thing is FAR more likely to leave me on the side of the road than my 99 but at my age it's becoming more about comfort

Right on! Yea, wayyyy more comfortable than the Tacos…especially a 99. And the “4 slow” is a pretty well designed unit

It looks great! You simply can't go wrong with Classic Silver Metallic or an Off Road Pro. Congrats.

I traded my '21 lunar rock Taco Pro for my '23 ORP. Don't miss the Taco a single bit. 4Runner is built so much tighter and the transmission isn't hooked on amphetamines.
