Im looking at getting a 2024 ORP but I keep seeing new vehicles with the old style wheels on them

Does anyone know why Toyota started putting the old version of TRD "SEMA" wheels on 4Runners versus the newer "flow form" version?

Center caps were in short supply. The flow form wheels are now on parts clearance.

Clearance would be nice but these are coming with the vehicle. I'm waiting on for at least a few more weeks and have been trying to figure out which wheels will be coming on it
This is on the window sticker online

Don’t worry. The older style look just as good on the 4Runner. My winter set is on the newer flow formed wheels and my AT tires for the rest of the year are on the older SEMA style wheels. Both look great and I can’t say I have a strong preference as they’re really very similar.

TRD Pro rims w/265/70-17 Toyo OC AT3s
Anyone know if the weight between the old and new versions differs much? I think I noted on Toyota's site....the new style TRD rims mentioned "cast" in their name which in my mind has always equalled "heavy as all hell". Or maybe they're all cast steel....i don't know. Just curious if some of these OE rims are less heavy than others...outside of the Limited 20" which I know weigh a ton.

    Thanks,
    TimG.
