3 inch suspension lift, leveling, new rims, new tires
Recently purchased a 2005 white 4runner, 97,000 miles, 1 owner, perfectly clean. Jumped right in an searched this site for ideas on modifications. Decided to join this online forum and learn more about modifications, improvements, and do it yourself mechanical work. Zero experience with anything related to cars or trucks, so newbie for everything. Used a local custom shop to make some basic modifications with a 3 inch suspension lift, leveling, new rims, and new tires. Hopefully adding a rack, spare tire mount of some sort, and little upgrades here and there.

Looking good! Sometimes the 'little' upgrades are the best ones. Welcome from Illinois.

Welcome from lower Middle Tennessee! I'm A new member also, I just started looking for some basic to medium off road trails and would like your input on where to go in our area. I'm in Shelbyville and wanting somewhere to go within a 75 mile radius.

I'm fairly new to Tennessee, moved to Knoxville 2 years ago. But I know there is a huge park near Wind Rock just outside of Oak Ridge that people have a permit to drive off road. There are a lot of different vehicles up there, but from my understanding a lot of off-road clubs are up there a lot. I don't know much about the difficulty of the trails or variety, but something to look into. My 4runner isn't setup for that kind of stuff, or at least not yet. I think there is a long stone road dirt road from Wartburg to Big South Fork that someone told me about. You might want connect with Rocky Top Customz, those guys would know far more about the off roading options and different levels of trail. I'm such a newbie, my 4runner only got the updates a month ago.
