The official 40th Anniversary Special Edition thread.

I searched for those when I first bought my 40th, but the only colors I could find were black (the majority are black) or the rare white. But no red ones! If anyone finds one, hook a brotha' up!

 

The only colors for the Boulevard Premiums is white, black, and blue with the black being the only one with the 40th paint scheme. Matchbox has released a red and blue 4Runner in their mainlines($1 cars) but none with 40th scheme.

 

What is the finish of the wheels? The SEMA wheels were more matte, but these look more like a satin?

 

In that picture, in that light, they look matte. I could be wrong though. I'd have to see them in person. The wheels on my 40th are matte finish.

A satin finish would look a bit shiny, but not TOO shiny.

 

Yea I was trying to compare yours to mine (my picture). Mine are matte, but look shiny because they just got cleaned in that photo. Sounds like yours are probably the same finish as the old SEMA style. Thanks.
