Hello! I am a longtime owner of Toyota vehicles - 4Runners, Camrys and Tacomas. I recently purchased a 2022 SR5 Premium from out of state (TX) to replace my 2008 4Runner Limited V8 (only 138K). Excited to start learning about the 5th Gen 4Runners and upgrading the SR5 for my passion of hiking in remote areas. The last couple days I upgraded all the interior main lights to LEDs and found a mat for the cargo area and a leveling kit I will install soon. Researching for C or E-load tires – not sure on the size, yet. Lots of posts to read but I’m excited about all the information on our forum!IMG_4496.jpg

Welcome from Phoenix - E load here as the desert has some sharp rocks and the 10 ply will pay for itself.

Thanks RLTW! E-Load tires were one of the first purchases I made for my 2008 4Runner 11 years ago for that very reason. They are more expensive, however the peace-of-mind out on the remote trails is priceless.

Thanks RunnerJimmy. No, it was a dealer purchase. They were willing to deal due to the high mileage, which didn't bother me since the previous owner faithfully had it in a Toyota dealership every 5K miles for oil changes.

Awesome! I'm originally from Milwaukee (born there) but now live in a huge swamp! Love it here. You have a nice looking ride, and lots of area to enjoy it. Ride-on!
