How to improve suspension travel.

    So I’m new here and pretty new to my 4Runner. But I’m getting it ready for use of trailing etc whatever. I just installed an icon 3.5 inch lift with new UCAs and am just wondering what else should I really do. I’m going to do the lower control arms eventually. But with all the stock sway / track bars still on the car I’m worried about how much downward travel I’ll have. Should I not worry about it or is there some stuff I should know. Any info is helpful thanks guys.

    Even a stock 4th Gen is very trail capable so you should be good unless you’re going rock crawling in Moab.

    This is what I was thinking about when I read the OP.

    Any time you increase downward travel, you increase your chances of blowing out a CV on the trail.
