I had a 2012 Tundra and I loved it. After a F-250 Diesel and an oil burning Chevy Silverado ZR2, I’m back with a 4Runner TRD Pro. It was a nightmare buying a car this go around but I have always wanted a 4Runner. I’m looking forward to learning all about it and customizing it. Going for a stealthy overland vibe. Picked up some Max Trax boards today and tinted the windows. Rock sliders next. What should I get? I want to keep the weight low but well protected. I got kids so top plate will be a must. Leaning towards Westcott. This will be my daily driver

Welcome back to the right land!! Affairs can be fun but costly and dangerous.

I run RCI everything on my 4R, but Westcott is also solid and good quality. I have their roof rack. Good luck!

It was definitely costly. My ZR2 was consuming oil to the tune of a quart every 2k miles and GM said it was normal. Smh. 73k truck. Never again

    Welcome

As for sliders, there are a lot of reputable brands. I would recommend zero degrees with kickout and top plate, with a textured bed liner finish
