I’ve been very happy with my General Grabber AT2’s since putting them on. I went with the stock 265/70-17 and have a 1” lift in the front.

Yes, any tire will fit as long as it is the correct size

Looks like to fit the 245/60/20 if i am correct on limited stock tire size, Toyo is the only brand that makes a decent off-road tire in that size. Now my question is what kind of off roading are you planning on, i would suggest finding some TRD Pro rims or trd off road rims and running the stock 265/70/17 size, much easier to find a tire, and the tire is cheaper. Plus better for off-raoding and airing down if needed.

I would suggest getting trd rims, the pros would look good full time, or if you wanted you could get some trd off road rims and put tires on and switch them out when you plan on off roading and keep your highway tires on your 20s. I have seen some people go that option.

Ebay is good place to buy trd pro rims and for trd off road, find someone who only has 2-3k miles on there old ones trying to sell. IMO the pro wheels look pretty nice

Alex, we also have a Galactic Gray Mica (dark gray) 4R Limited. We tow our snowmobiles to the mountains, boats to the lakes, and frequently travel cross-country getting us in treacherous mountain passes, but mostly drive city streets and interstates. 23 months ago we had Michelin LTX M/S installed. We've since put 27,000+ miles on them and they still look new! With 23,901 miles on them the dealership measured the tread depth at still having 10/32. While these aren't all-terrain, they have deep tread, and serve us well. Obviously we aren't mudding or off-roading up mountains in a Limited.
Our youngest son lived in south-central Wyoming where it snows almost daily and the wind blows strong enough to flip semi-trucks. He's a hunter and outdoors sportsman, and takes his Ford pickup places that I wouldn't dream of taking a new vehicle! He had BF Goodrich KO2 installed. The tires got him around in the sandy soil, mud and snow, but wear quickly on dry payment. Don't expect 60K miles out of A/T tires!

Those LTX M/S last forever, had a pair on a 99 4runner got 93k out of them. But you can get over 60k on aggressive A/T tires but you have to rotate them every 5k and not slack on it.

I’m on my third set of BFG A/T T/As and have gotten about 60k per set so far. I take the rig way back in the sticks regularly and pull a trailer sometimes. Keep ‘em aired properly and rotated and they do great.

If you want OEM Toyota then http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/Scripts/default.asp is a solid choice. I've bought wheels from them and they are genuine, fairly cheap, and ship super fast.

My druthers for AT tires with a more street bias but which still kick ass in most off road settings are the Firestone Destination AT and the Cooper Discoverer AT3. Everyone has a different opinion, though. My Destinations have taken me from 4 lane interstate across America to Imogene and Black Bear Passes; and my Discoverers got me to Alaska and up the Dalton in inclement weather. Both are fantastic choices but they don't get the bro love because you don't look like a nipple knobbed bad ass with them.

I went with 4 wheel Parts in Denver (online and other locations as well). I got $229 Icons, no tax, free shipping AND 10% OFF... so I paid $207 per wheel. Ive seen them listed for $249 (Bronze) all over the place. There wasn't a better deal anywhere for these wheels. Just got them this week. JT and August are my guys in the Denver store

I am running Toyo RT on my taco. They are not a true AT tire but a hybrid. They are great on wet/dry pavement and are not loud. They are great offroad too. Rotate every 5k miles and guys are getting >50k miles out of them.

I don’t think I will ever run an AT tire again.

I ran Nitto Terra graps for years, they are a good tire but wear down quickly, same with trail graps. I really loved the trails but they are just soooo expensive and don’t last long enough on a DD, IMO. I would def reccomend the toyo’s If you are going to spend the money for one of the ‘top’ tire brands.

Your rig is a gem btw.

    Too many to list...
I have Toyo Open Country AT2's on my rig. 285/70/17.... They're awesome. Great for off-road and a smooth, quiet ride on the road. Not as noisy as the other options you'll find out there.

Thanks TO'TA! She's coming along. Never ending process, ha.

I looked up the Toyo RTs you mentioned, gorgeous tire, though it seems 285 is the only option in 17. I'll need and therefore am considering a 3/2 lift... shoot who am I kidding, its just a matter of time... and $2K! Like a drug, cant say no to T4R Mods.

Its likely going to come down to which Toyo do I choose? AT2 and your RTs

I think the RTs are E load only in our sizes? Otherwise looks boss.
