    I disagree.

The whole point of the thread is the OP wondering if a conversation is even necessary. Sometimes things bug us that shouldn't. He was trying to figure out if that is what this is. Now he has confirmation that he is justified in being frustrated and can continue toward a solution. This thread is step one of the flow chart.

If you need confirmation on a public forum for a parking issue, which may not even be an issue, god forbid any quick important decisions be made.

Since we on the subject neighbor brought home a beater. Hasn't moved in 3 months. Should I cry online?

    Not really.

By not an issue I meant maybe the neighbor is just fn clueless. A quick convo and he may just move his truck.

But if hes an ass hole I completely agree with asking wtf to do.

A friendly face-to-face discussion is always the right starting point. Even difficult people frequently respond favorably to that. Escalation still remains possible, but the chances of blowback are minimized by starting at the beginning.

Get a small ziplock sandwich bag, cut the ziplock part off, cut the seams so it lays flat, and then push it into the fuel fill. Next time he drives, the bag will suck down into the pickup and the truck will die. After a few minutes of the car being off, it will float off the pickup. He will get another few hundred feet and it will die again. This is an endless cycle that will baffle even the best mechanic. They will have to drain the tank and drop it to figure out the issue - and it will take months for them to get that desperate. Wear gloves. No fingerprints.

Agree with a scorched earth policy if the guy truly turns out to just be a dick. I always start with a conversation but some people...

I should add that he used to park a 15 foot trailer in that exact same spot. Randomly one day it was ticketed (illegal to park a trailer overnight on the street) and it disappeared the next day. Guy probably thought it was me and this is my payback. Too bad the neighbor across the street told me it was him and doesn't like him either haha

I just wanted to update this. He has now stopped parking in his driveway at all. Now he parks all three of his vehicles on the road. Not sure what prompted this but I haven't messed with him. I haven't parked in his coveted spot once. I've decided that it's a non-logical compulsory thing with him. He definitely has a chip about the road in front of his house.

No matter, I just finalized docs today on a 2,500 sq-ft home with enough room to park six vehicles in my garage/driveway. Additionally the road on my side is a firelane, so it's completely forbidden to park about 100 feet each direction from my driveway on the road. There is parking across the street however. So that's kinda rad haha

Maybe since he doesn't like his driveway, you could park there? :D Just until you move!

This has crossed my mind. I'm currently driving a rental Wrangler while my Tundra is at the body shop. Parking in his driveway temporarily would be hilarious.

If you want to get ornery, the Wrangler could "develop" an oil leak...

His stupid cherry blossom tree dumps all over my yard, be a shame if those petals ended up back in his yard.

Enterprise gave me a 4xe that I wanted to hate so bad. I cannot lie, I've barely used 1/4 a tank charging it every night at home and driving to work daily. I will say, it's a cool little rig. It's no yota though.

I'm surprised noone asked this question, is his wife a bitch? If so, that's probably why he's a prick. Does he have company over a lot? Maybe he trying to save space for guests? Looks like it's time to blow those leaves off your bushes. I'd kindly ask him to move his truck because you need to do some landscaping. If he doesn't, blow the leaves on his shit. Going back to his wife, does your wife know her? Get her to ask her whats up

So she's waaaay weirder than he is. She's like a little gremlin that's scared of daylight, or human contact.

I will admit I fired our landscapers over increasing pricing and told myself I could do it, and I haven't. But yes I do need to get my ass out there and clean up my yard
